As a Pipeline user, we wish the priority field acted as more than just a visual cue. It would be nice if (for example) marking the lead as URGENT would automatically pull it to the top of the list of leads for that particular stage. When you have a lot of leads in a stage, the priority field loses a little value and easily be missed, so we just wish there was some kind of action behind using it.
