Archive/Delete Messages with no contact in management system

Currently, if a message cannot be connected to a customer in the management system, it stays in the inbox forever. We get a lot of leads/quote requests via text but not all are "serious". Would like to not have to add these people in the management system as a prospect just to clear the text from the inbox.

Hi Alice - there is a Hide Message option, but this is only available if the message is not responded to by your team. With E&O in mind, currently any message that receives a response is expected to be archived in the AMS. Is there no E&O or archiving concern for quoting prospects who are not a customer?

Lucas Jans, VP of Product: sorry I probably didn't fully explain. If we actually get to the point of quoting, they absolutely would be put in as a prospect and we would document that for E&O purposes. But many times we will get a text requesting a quote (no name, only a number) and when we follow up for more information we are essentially ghosted. No need to save these, or at least not in the inbox. Maybe they could be moved to a "Closed" folder for record purposes?

another situation where we can't close out a message- dealerships request auto ins and id cards from us over text. We just manually document those to AMS. But since it's the dealerships number we can't add it to the contact, so the message sits in the inbox
